Preparatory Work: Safety First, Power Outage First

Power Disconnection: Before replacement, the power supply switch for the corresponding line must be disconnected, and a "Do Not Power On" warning sign must be posted on the pole or at the substation to prevent accidental power restoration.

Site Assessment: Check the stability of the pole, the condition of the fittings, and the presence of any crossing lines or obstacles nearby. Temporary guy wires should be installed for reinforcement if necessary.

Tools and Materials Preparation: Prepare weather-resistant insulated conductors (aluminum core cross-section not less than 35mm²), torque wrenches, pulleys, grounding wires, and personal protective equipment.

 

Removing the Old Line: Standardized Operation, Avoiding Damage

Loosening and Untying: Use pulleys on tension towers to gradually release the tension of the old conductors. Direct cutting is strictly prohibited as it can cause sudden imbalance.
