Product Description
Our factory's clustered overhead line uses 2, 4, or even 6 sub-conductors per phase, arranged symmetrically to form the basic structure. Furthermore, spacers are used to maintain spacing between the overhead lines to effectively prevent whiplash and galloping. Through this scientific structural design, clustered overhead line can significantly reduce corona discharge and radio interference. Additionally, the line can increase transmission capacity and reduce line losses.

Product Feature And Application
Our clustered overhead line boasts exceptional environmental adaptability. We can adapt to different environments by making appropriate adjustments based on their specific characteristics.
- For high-wind areas: We enhance the strength of the spacers to better prevent conductor galloping;
- For heavy icing areas: We select large-section, high-strength conductors to prevent breakage due to icing;
- For high-altitude areas: Because the thin air easily triggers corona discharge, we increase the number of splits or the diameter of the sub-conductors to eliminate potential hazards.
FAQ
The selection of a suitable clustered overhead line model should be based on the voltage level, combined with the splitting configuration, conductor material, and engineering environment for system matching. In 220kV and above systems, four- or six-split LGJ series steel-cored aluminum stranded wire is preferred. This combination balances electrical performance and mechanical strength. For capacity increases, long spans, or heavy icing scenarios, carbon fiber composite conductors can be upgraded to improve current carrying capacity and tensile strength.
