Common building wire is made for fixed wiring. It works well inside conduits and distribution boxes, but it is not the right choice for every moving line. A tough sheath cable with suitable rubber material can help protect the cores from moisture and surface damage. Some silicone rubber cable structures can also work at low temperature, with service down to minus 60 C. Before installation, confirm rated voltage, conductor size, bending frequency, sheath material, oil exposure, and whether the line needs armor or shielding.
