Product Description
Our factory produces steel reinforced aluminum stranded wire, an overhead power transmission conductor made of a galvanized steel core and an outer layer of aluminum wire. It fully combines the high conductivity of aluminum with the high mechanical strength of steel, and utilizes the skin effect to reduce the impact of the low conductivity of the steel core on transmission efficiency, achieving high-efficiency power transmission. Our steel-cored aluminum stranded wire is available in three types based on the aluminum-to-steel cross-sectional area ratio: standard, light-duty, and reinforced, and is widely used in power transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.

Product Feature And Application
Hualun steel reinforced aluminum stranded wire features simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low line cost, and large transmission capacity. It is well-suited for laying cables across rivers and valleys, and its excellent conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength allow for increased tower spacing.

FAQ
How to Choose the right steel reinforced aluminum stranded wire model?
The basic type is usually determined by the voltage level and the intended use of the line:
Distribution lines below 5kV
Ordinary aluminum stranded wire (LJ) or small-section steel-cored aluminum stranded wire (LGJ) can be used, suitable for scenarios with small spans and low stress.
35kV and above transmission lines
Steel-cored aluminum stranded wire (LGJ) must be used to ensure sufficient mechanical strength and stability.
Heavy icing areas, long spans, or high wind pressure areas
Reinforced steel-cored aluminum stranded wire should be selected, such as models using high-strength steel core (G2A/G3A) (JL/G2A, JL/G3A), to improve tensile strength.
High-altitude, 500kV and above ultra-high voltage lines
Expanded diameter steel-cored aluminum stranded wire (LGKK) is recommended. Increasing the equivalent diameter reduces corona loss and improves the electromagnetic environment.
